Privacy notice for SingleView

SingleView is an internal IT system linked to Achieving for Children's social care systems. It provides our authorised practitioners with a consolidated view of information relating to children and families to help inform decision-making, improve how services coordinate with each other, and support our safeguarding responsibilities.

The system brings together selected information from a range of internal systems used by Achieving for Children, as well as external data from partner agencies. These partners include:

• health
• adult social care
• housing
• Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) benefits

The information viewed in SingleView may include basic identifying details about children, young people, and their families, as well as information relating to their involvement with these partner agencies.

Access to SingleView is strictly restricted to authorised staff who require access as part of their professional duties to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and families. Access to this information is controlled through role-based permissions, and staff must strictly comply with Achieving for Children’s data protection, confidentiality, and information governance policies when using the system.
