Children and young people's plans
Richmond
Children and Young People's Plan 2023-28
This is a plan for the children and young people who live, study in, or visit the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It’s a vision of what a good life looks like for children and young people in the borough and the things that need to change to make that happen.
A large number of children and young people helped make this plan by sharing what’s going well for them and their worries, as well as ideas about what would make their lives better and give them the best start in life.
The Youth Council, which is a group of democratically elected young people, worked with us and Richmond Council to gather as many views as possible, because it was important that we heard about different experiences of living in the borough.
We also spoke to some parents and carers, which helped us to understand the views of very young children so that we could include them in this plan.

Children and Young People's Plan 2023 - 2028
This is the first Children and Young People’s Plan for the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM).
It has been produced by partners from the local authority, health, education and the voluntary sector, alongside input from young people who are members of the RBWM Youth Council.
The plan sets out how, as a system of partners, we are committed to working together and alongside families to address inequalities to ensure all children and young people – including the most vulnerable – can enjoy happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.

Kingston
Children and Young People’s Plan 2024-2027
The Children and Young People’s Plan has been co-produced with children and young people who live and study in Kingston.
It will be delivered by Kingston Council, Achieving for Children, South West London NHS, Transport for London, the Metropolitan Police, schools, and local voluntary and community sector organisations.
We heard from lots of children and young people about what matters most to them, and what they would like the council and its partners to do to make Kingston a better place to grow up in.
From this, we developed the Children and Young People’s Plan, which sets out what we do to achieve this. We have created a comprehensive action plan which explains in detail what will be done.
Young people from Kingston Youth Forum will be involved in monitoring the progress, to make sure that by 2027, Kingston is a better place for children and young people to live, learn and grow up in.
