Success in Social Worker of the Year Awards
We are pleased to announce that Lynn Lock, our Young People’s Substance Misuse Service Manager, was named Practice Educator of the Year at the Social Worker of the Year awards ceremony on 24 November 2017.
Congratulations also go to our two finalists:
- Team Leader of the Year – Clare Luby, Adoption Team
- Newly Qualified Social Worker of the Year – Jack McWaters, Safeguarding Team
The Social Worker of the Year Awards were established in 2006 to recognise the hard work and positive impact that social workers have on the lives of vulnerable children, families and adults.
The Practice Educator of the Year award is for inspiring practice educators who are successfully motivating their students to develop their careers in social work.
The Team Leader of the Year award is for an outstanding individual team leader who can show clear leadership skills and the ability to successfully manage a team.
The Newly Qualified Social Worker of the Year award is for newly qualified social workers (less than 12 months experience) that have made a difference through their outstanding work with children and families.
